Travel Day from Seattle, Washington to Eugene, Oregon

Today we drove over two hundred miles from Seattle to Eugene and believe it or not we were in heavy traffic pretty much the entire way. Nearer to Seattle it was six lanes and then it was three and only briefly two lanes.  We are staying at a Premier Resort park the next few days here in Eugene and in Redding, CA.  The park we are in today is very nice.  We have a pull in spot that faces a lake with mountains in the background.  Everyone in the park has green and yellow flags or ribbons out in front of their rv's.  The reason for this is because we are in the home of the Oregon Ducks.  Their stadium which is called Autzen Stadium is in Eugene, Oregon.  We were going to go to the stadium tomorrow and do a little partying but a guy in the park said getting near the stadium is a traffic nightmare.  We decided to stay away after all.

The last park we were in was in Seattle, WA.  It was the worst parks we have stayed in so far on our trip.  I couldn't even get into the park when turning off of the main street without unhooking the car first.  Then trying to get to our site we had a problem.  Huli was leading the way in the car and apparently took a wrong turn which had me in a part of the park that I couldn't turn a corner in with the motorhome.  I had to back up and cut through a couple of empty sites in order to get off that street and back to the street I was suppose to be on.  The park wasn't laid out very good,  Then last night two bicycles worth $1000 were stolen from our neighbors site.  The thieves cut a cable that had locked the bikes up to their leveling jacks.  Glad were gone.

This is Portland, Oregon

These are all over the rv park where we are at today in Eugene OR.

The view out of our front windshield

Saw a lot of farming on our way today.  Especially blueberries.
