Saturday April 2, 2011 Just Chillin

We got up today and were in no hurry to get going.  Like many Saturday mornings we watched the Top 20 Music Count Down on VH1 and then watched some of the top 20 count down on the country music station.  Well, Cee Lo Green and his F You song is the number one video in the nation. After breakfast we decided to take a ride and check out The Citadel military school and Kiawah Island.  After that we planned on returning to the 5er where Huli is looking forward to kicking the scrap out of the laundry. While Huli is doing laundry I will get supper ready and watch the final four of the NCAA basketball tourney.

The Citadel is hugh.  My parents would have sent me there if we were closer and they had a lot more money.  The Kiawah island was a waste of time.  It's 95% private so you can't tour most of it.  Seems it's private houses and golf courses.   Not much to take pictures of today.

When we got back Huli started laundry and I started washing windows in the 5er.  It was actually too hot to wash them on the back so I will have to finish them tomorrow (my soap would dry before I could squeegee it off).  Met some really nice people here who have a Mobile Suite like we do from Ohio.  We talked to them for about an hour yesterday and they stopped by today before leaving to ask if it was ok to look us up when they come to Indiana.  We told them we would enjoy hooking up with them in the future and we may actually go to a Mobile Suite rally in June to meet them there.  Later today some people from Michigan moved in next to us and were very helpful in educating us on some of the places in Florida to visit next year.  Below are the few pictures we took today.  The big plus about traveling like we are doing is the people we get to meet.

A person on the Mobile Suite web site shared this story.  He purchased a used Mobile Suite 5th wheel about a week earlier and had taken it out for the maiden shake down voyage.  On his way home he got into his neighborhood when he went under a tree limb that was hanging down too low that tore off his air conditioner, satellite antennae and tore the roof up.  Over $14k in damage and only about a week old.  That sucks.
