We made it to our new winter home.

We left Beverly Hills, Florida, after saying our goodbyes to Wally and Joann, at around 10:00am on Sunday December 1st and pulled into the Gulf Waters RV Park at around 2:30pm.  The drive down to Fort Myers Beach was uneventful but there was a lot of traffic on I75 with all of the snow birds heading south for the winter.

Once we arrived we checked in and then got set up and scoped out where we could and could not walk the dogs etc.  This park is much more upscale than other places we have stayed.  Another difference here is many of the rv lots in this park are privately owned while others, like ours, are rented from the rv park by the month.   Our lot here is very large with a concrete drive and decorative brick pavers on both sides and the back.  We pulled forward into our space instead of backing in.  This allows a perfect view of the lake which we are facing.  In front of the motorhome is a brick paver patio with lounge chairs and a dining table and chairs.   The have a brick enclosure for your grill and a buffet table to hold things on the patio.  There are tropical plants and palm trees between us and our neighbors.  The people on one side of us our from Lawrenceburg, Indiana while the one's on the other side are from upper Georgia.

Here are a couple of pictures of our rv site and the park around us.
