Feb 18th Day Riding on the Gulf Of Mexico Beach Rd.

Well Hulio didn't have a very good night last night.  She said something about me and the dogs taking up all of the room and covers on the bed.  Surely it must have been nightmare or something like that.  Due to her not getting the best nights sleep she slept in a little this morning so after doing some things we needed to do around here we didn't get on the bikes until about noon.  We road down the beach to one of the state park access points and parked the bikes and walked along the beach.  While the beaches are very beautiful we were able to find a couple of small tar balls that washed up on the beach from the BP oil spill.  After riding about 10 miles we stopped at a Mexican restaurant for refreshments and a snack.  We then stopped at the grocery store and later rode through some housing additions on the inter coastal waterway.  Proceeded back to the 5th wheel and decided to tackle two weeks worth of laundry at the local laundry mat.  We didn't take many pictures today so I posted one I missed yesterday that Janet got of an egret sitting on a post.  I also took some night pictures of the moon using the tripod Gabe got me for Christmas.

You can see the tulips and daffodils already blooming.
