Everyone says that the heat we are experiencing here in Florida is unusual. It is too hot to do anything. I hate this type of heat; walk to the truck and your clothes are soaked kind of heat. But what's crazier is the weather Warsaw is experiencing. Temps in the 70's? Last year we came back to Warsaw and still had to wear coats. This year we planned on returning in May to avoid the cold weather. Sounds like we may come back to the summer months if this weird weather keeps up. I can remember many Easter Sundays with snow on the ground.
Several people have left Sandy Oaks and returning to the North. By the end of April it should be pretty well cleared out. I know that there are a few people who stay here year round and many who stay here for 6 months leave their units here on their lot through the summer for a nominal fee. While I'm very sad to leave JoAnn and Wally we are looking forward to next year's stay at a resort closer to the things we enjoy doing.
Haven't done a whole heck of a lot these past few days. What I thought was severe allergies may be a cold. Today I slept most of the day and once I woke up, took enough sinus medication to cure anything and then went out for Chinese with JoAnn and Wally. I felt fairly well at the restaurant but once home the sinus pain and congestion came back full force. So, I'm sitting here whining and Jack is putting dishes away.
We are dog sitting Sunday and Monday for Winston and J.J. They know Jack and I both now and are well behaved so we should have no problem. Actually we are looking forward to spending time with them before we leave here on April 1st. They are two of the best behaved dogs in the park. And very loving.
Tomorrow, if I'm feeling better, we are going on a boat ride. We plan on renting a small boat with an engine and puttering down the river. Hopefully we'll get some nice pictures to share.
