A journal written about life, retirement and our journey throughout the United States in a 5th wheel, along with our two Shih Tzus, Tanner and Syndey. Written not for notoriety but for our sons, family and friends, so they know where we are at any given time. And particularly for ourselves. Finally, we get to slow down and smell the roses and we don't want to forget any of it. You are welcome to join us as we go 'Down the Road a Piece'.

Out in the swamp
Well we are in the Okefenokee swamp and we get internet for about 5 minutes per day if we catch it. We saw probably 50-100 alligators today but can't upload any pictures until we get a faster more reliable connection. We got so close we could have probably reached over and hit some of them on the head. Will post tons of pictures of the time we spent here when we get to civilization. Don't need to worry about us doing any beer runs on our bikes since the closest place to get a beer is well over 100 miles round trip. We have to drive 17 miles to get to a town that has a gas station and a small cafe. We did that on the motorcycle this afternoon since someone at the park thought we would be able to use an internet connection in Fargo but it didn't work out. I have some trades in place and I have no idea what the market has been doing. It's due to go down so I will check when I am done here assuming the internet still works. On Thursday we will be moving north toward Pine Mountain Georgia, I think, where Calloway Gardens is. Bye for now.
