Will start packing tomorrow.

Since we "purged" the motorhome of all of the unnecessary stuff when we got home from Florida we have some packing to do in order to get ready for our trip west.  We are going to park the motorhome in the driveway tomorrow and get things ready the next two days.  This time we are only packing what we need.  That means I will pack about four fluorescent tee shirts and four pairs of shorts that I wear all of the time and I can leave all of the other clothes at home.  Probably not.  All of these other clothes which make up the other 90% of my wardrobe are my just in case clothes that I usually very seldom ever wear.

I got my blocks cut from the post I bought at Lowe's and they worked great for supporting my jack stands so I could get under the motorhome when it was raised up higher.  This let me slide under it enough to grease the front universal joint.  I completed that yesterday. This U joint was between the two rear axles and I couldn't get under it before.  Even when I jacked the motorhome up as far as I could get it I didn't have much room to spare.  In fact,  I had grease on my tee shirt when I got out from under it.  I see commercials on tv by Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig that have the cure for this but I don't think that is going to happen.  I am wondering if our condo association would have a problem if I dug a pit in the middle of our storage unit so I could easily get under the motorhome without jacking it up.  This would be the ultimate solution.

I also had another 2 x 2 receiver welded to our tow bar receiver so we can mount the bike rack on the back of the motorhome instead of on the back of the car when we are towing the car.  My thinking is this will allow us to drive the car without having to haul the bikes around all of the time or without having to take them off the car.  However, we can always transfer the bike rack to the car when we ever we need to.  This also reduces our overall length a little.

We made reservations at an rv park outside of St Louis that has pull through sites and a big swimming pool.  I will be in the pool Tuesday evening.  We are going to see some sights in St Louis while we are in the area.  We have been to St Louis before but I would like to see the Clydesdale's on this trip which we haven't seen before.  Huli sounds like she may want to do the arch again.  Or if it's real hot and the pool is real nice we may not leave the park.

Huli has been checking out hot air balloon rides for her birthday.  She is still trying to do one over the Grand Canyon.  Sounds expensive to me.  This may be a Birthday - Christmas combo present.  Yea right.

I sold the water pumps and the roto chocks to a Mobile Suite owner and I also gave him a 30 amp extension cord for him to sell for me at a gathering he is going to out west.  This means we may not have to wash dishes but the bathroom duty is still a possibility.  Glove up Huli we're going in.
