Lancaster, Pa. Bithday Party for Skip

We arrived in Lancaster Pennsylvania at about 12:30 pm on Monday after a three and one half hour drive.  The toll road across Pennsylvania is one of the worst highways we have ever been on with the 5th wheel.  Other than the it being a bumpy ride we had no problems getting to Lancaster.

When we originally made these plans to visit my brother Skip, who is older than me by about four years,  he was going to be on vacation for the week we would be visiting.  Just before we left he learned he got a promotion where he works and will need to travel to California on the 5th so we have one evening to see him.  I don't know why he would let something like a big promotion change our plans (just kidding).  He actually retired several years ago and didn't work for eight years while he and his wife traveled full time in a 5th wheel back and forth across the country.  In fact, they have been very helpful in giving us pointers when needed with our travels.  His birthday is on July 5th and since he will be leaving very early the morning of the 5th we were glad we could be with them to help celebrate his birthday on the evening of the 4th.  Below are some pictures of our visit and my brother's party.

I haven't had a hair cut since I retired but the long hair has got to go.  It's too hot.
