Rode the bikes to the New Hampshire shore

I now understand when I watch a tv show, usually set on the east coast, and they talk about going to the shore for the day what they mean.  On the weekend when we get up the traffic is bumper to bumper on the main east/west road heading east to the shore or the beach as Huli and I call it.  Then in the afternoon and evening they start going west bumper to bumper.  We wondered where they all went so today we rode our bikes to New Hampton beach in New Hampshire which was only a 12 mile ride round trip from the rv park but it was riding in bumper to bumper traffic the entire way.  In most cases it was two or three lanes of bumper to bumper traffic.  We have never seen so many umbrellas on the beach before. Miles and miles of umbrellas on the beach.  Beside Hulio having a slight crash against the side of a bridge to miss a car we made it without incident.  She banged up her elbow and knee a little but no blood and no long lasting injuries so all is good.

If the people moving stay left of the white line and the people parked stay on the right side of the white line and don't open a door then it's clear sailing.  This doesn't always happen and after a few miles it gets pretty aggravating.

This is a picture of the new dog park at the rv park we are staying at.  I think our dogs have been spoiled just a little cause they don't like it..
P.S. My. little bridge crash hurt like heck.  A few naughty words escaped my mouth before I realized a family of four, mom, dad and two teenagers were sitting just 4 ft away from me in their car, stopped waiting in the bumper to bumper traffic.  After I untangled my bike bars from the bridge I apologized profusely to the family for my potty mouth.  The mother, who was laughing said to me, " I would have said a lot worse, trust me."
