A Day of Rain, Laundry and Happy Tears

Since we are leaving Monday I, along with JoAnn, hit the laundromat.  Nothing much else to do when it rains.
Anyhow we wanted to get packed early because Sunday the park is having that "Dancing in the Street" and cook out party and we'd like to attend. Free food and free beer, hey what could be better?

While at the laundromat Jack called.  Told me he heard a knock on the door, answered it and was shocked by the visitor standing there.  It was Gabe and a friend of his.  They were headed towards St. Petersburg for a week of fun in the sun.  They had been on the road since yesterday at 6:00 p.m. so they were pretty beat.  I think they just wanted a shower, something to eat and relaxation.  BUT he could not be just 8 miles from me and not come and give me one of his big bear hugs.  The second I saw him step out of the car, of course, tears of joy burned my eyes and slid down my cheeks as if I hadn't seen him for years.  Didn't want to embarrass him in front of his friend but I could not stop the tears. It was wonderful to see him.

Can you guess what this is?

It's this bird feeder.  If you look closely at the above pic you can see the outline of the bird's tail feather.
