Valentine's Day - Janet

Just a few things I wanted to share with you....

We went to a flea market this past weekend.  What is the very first thing I see as we enter one of many, many buildings?  Little, tiny, black and white Shitzus.   I tried to turn my head and keep walking.   "Just keep your eyes straight ahead," I tell myself.  Walk, breathe, walk, breathe.   Ah, darn it!  The pet peddler could read my face and stuck one out for me to hold.  OMG!!  Did I fall in love. Jack walked ahead knowing full well what I am about to ask him. I hold the puppy up for him to see.  He shakes his head no.  I am begging with my eyes. Again, he shakes his head no.  I give the puppy back.  He's right.  Tanner will be needing more and more attention and love in the coming years and bringing a new "pup" in to our fold wouldn't be fair to him.

It warmed up considerably today and Jack is right; we were just A LITTLE under dressed for Ike's restaurant.  Here are some pics I snapped inside of Ike's.

Gosh!  Looked so much like our truck I almost jumped in to the passenger seat.

The captain here (black shirt) told me that they generally go out shrimping around 4:00 p.m. and return at 5:30 a.m.

The captain of one of the ships told me that each day Booger comes down to see the boats off and returns every morning to greet them.

Booger and a friend play together.

This is April who belongs to the owner of the rv park we are staying at.  She knows her name as well as Tanner and Sydney.  The difference is when you call April she will come to you.  She was clear across her yard when I stopped and yelled for her.  I held up a carrot and she came trotting towards me as if feeding her was something I did everyday.
